My name is Desiree. I am from Washington state. I am 24 years old and the oldest of seven kids. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biophysics from Brigham Young University. I love stars, ice cream, fireflies, and dancing. I’ve been to 10 countries, and I’ve run a marathon. But for the next 18 months, you can call me Sister Winters.
I will be serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Yep! I’m a Mormon. 🙂 I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to learn more about Him and His teachings, how to follow Him and return to His presence. And I want to serve Him.
As a missionary, my purpose is to:
Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. (Preach My Gospel)
